How we source data

Headline numbers are compiled from publicly reported placement data and official Training & Placement Cell summaries. Placement reporting happens in phases and different outlets cite different points in the cycle, so figures can vary between sources. Where official numbers are not yet published, we show clearly-labelled representative figures in the same structure.

Accuracy & privacy

We keep individual candidates anonymized and describe them only by branch and batch. This is an independent, unofficial project and is not affiliated with any IIT or government body. If you spot something that should be corrected, the data lives in structured files designed to be easy to update.

Where does the data come from?

Are individual students named?

No. Top offers are usually reported with the recruiting firm but not the student. We keep individual candidates anonymized and describe them only by branch and batch.

Will other colleges be added?

Yes. The site is built so new institutes can be added by extending the underlying data. It launches with all IITs and is designed to grow.
