Inaugurated in 1951 at the site of the historic Hijli Detention Camp, IIT Kharagpur is the oldest IIT and has the largest campus and one of the biggest graduating batches. Its breadth of departments attracts a wide spectrum of recruiters across software, core engineering, finance and consulting.
