IIT Bombay leads on international offers with a ₹3.67 crore package

IIT Bombay's Training & Placement Cell reported a highest international offer of ₹3.67 crore and a highest domestic offer of ₹1.68 crore for 2024-25.

According to IIT Bombay's Training & Placement Cell summary for 2024-25, the highest international package reached ₹3.67 crore and the highest domestic package stood at ₹1.68 crore.

The institute saw 364 companies participate, generating 1,475 offers, with a notable rise in international offers from countries including the USA, Japan and the UAE.

The overall average package rose to about ₹23.5 LPA, a 7.7% increase over the previous year's ₹21.8 LPA, while the median stood at roughly ₹17.92 LPA.

The overall placement rate was about 75% for the cycle.
