IIT Madras recorded the highest package in its history during the 2024-25 cycle: a ₹4.3 crore per annum international offer from Jane Street for a computer-science student, for a role based in Hong Kong.
In Phase 1, the institute reported an average salary of about ₹22 LPA and a median of roughly ₹19.6 LPA, with more than 1,000 offers made by over 250 participating companies.
The computer-science branch posted a particularly strong average for the graduating batch, reflecting heavy demand from software and quantitative-finance recruiters.
